In October

even while the weather was still so hot, our ladies were busy:

Here are two 80s panels that were sandwiched. One was tied; one was quilted. The moms love these. The nurses tell us they are the first to go in each batch.

From September's Offerings

Another one with some of the blocks the children colored at the festival.  The free pattern was from equilter.com. You can see it here  She made it in the cutest fabric, but we have to make do with what we have.

Isabel's Pretty Pre-Printed Panel

This is softer looking in reality.  I'm sure some mother with a newborn daughter is going to love this one. Isabel lined it with flannel and brought it forward to frame it. Measures 36" x 45".

For a newborn in the family.  Found the top in a donation pile. Flannel on back - measures 36" square.

Last dog days of August

proved to be hot.  Here are some baby quilts we were able to finish despite the 100+ temps:

They say the first colors babies can see is black and white.  Both of these quilts are 36" square.

First Week of School is Always Hot

and it starts Monday.  Temps are predicted over 100 all week. Tradition holds.

And here are two more quilts turned in at our last meeting:

 This was a panel as you can tell.  We cut it up and rearranged the blocks to fit our size requirements. Tied to the back.
