For December Babies

The first quilt is the second made by our newest member, Penny.  She is loving making these. Just two layers of flannel went to make this colorful rendition.  The second quilt was made by her mother, Betty. It's fun to sew together they said.

Our third quilt is one of the tops a member brought in - several prequilted panels for us to turn into quilts. Gloria added a great striped binding that sets off the quilt including all of the colores in the quilt.  We're linking to Michelle's Let's Make Baby Quilts! Gorgeous baby quilts there.

Bless you, ladies!

And Merry Christmas to all.

Sent Abroad

A modern quilt thoroughly quilted.  Thought it might make it too stiff, but it stayed soft.  36"square. I used a Terry Atkinson pattern. Need is worldwide.

Have a UFO you No Longer want?

Have a UFO you're no longer enthusiastic about finishing? We're looking for UFOs suitable for turning into baby quilts to help us meet our goal of 12 per month. It can be a larger one and we'll divide and make more out of your lap quilt or bed size top. Send us an email to stannessewdality(at)gmail.com and we'll send our address.

We Try for 12

quilts each month as the clinic tells us they have about 10 every month come for their first post-partum visit.  Thus they have a selection even at the end of the month for these first time mothers.
